Jinan, capital of Shandong province, hosted a forum focusing on high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin on July 16 in Qingdao, the host city of the second Qingdao Multinationals Summit.

近日，2021年跨国公司领导人青岛峰会在青岛举办，由济南市邀请黄河流域部分省市共同举办的“黄河流域高质量发展的开放联动”论坛于7月16日在本次峰会期间举行。

The first World Advanced Manufacturing Conference will be held in Jinan from Aug 23 to 26. Experts, major figures, as well as representatives of institutions and companies from home and abroad will be invited to discuss the future of the advanced manufacturing industry.

首届世界先进制造业大会将于8月23日-26日在济南举办。本次大会邀请国内外知名专家学者、制造业领军人物、行业机构代表齐聚泉城，共话产业趋势，共谋产业发展。

A book feast for the eyes

The National Book Expo will be held in Jinan from July 15 to 19. Book lovers can read and buy books via the official website of the expo or its official WeChat account. More than 5,800 books from 430 publishers in the country will be available. 

第30届全国图书交易博览会于7月15日至19日在山东济南举办。观众可通过官网（www.sbhjn.com）和微信公众号（第30届全国图书交易博览会）参观线上书博。可以在线浏览、试读、购买全国超430家出版社的5800余种图书。

Daguan Garden in Jinan turns into a paradise of gold as night falls. Following a comprehensive upgrading, the garden now offers visitors a glimpse of the city's history, as well as a place to enjoy light shows and taste delicious food. 

夜幕下的济南大观园披上了金色的面纱，璀璨的灯光，带给市民不一样的风景。大观园经过升级改造，游客既可以品美食、赏夜色，更可以前来寻觅许多老济南人的回忆与情怀。

Twin lotus flowers on one stem, a rare sight, are entering full bloom at Daming Lake in Jinan, attracting flocks of visitors. 

济南大明湖畔的荷花池内一株并蒂莲娇美绽放，吸引了众多游客和摄影爱好者围观。
